This is a simple, but beautiful, single strand necklace from Japan. The necklace features bright red beads that are all the same size. The beads are hand-knotted on a red string.  The necklace measures approximately 17½” with an additional 3” extender. It closes with a silver-tone J hook that is signed JAPAN. The matching pierced earrings are just one single red bead. The set is in excellent vintage condition.*
